English 12 Course Outline
You will receive both formative grades (practice work) and summative grades (good copies) that will reflect how well you have met the learning outcomes of the course. Both types of assignments must be completed and submitted to your teacher for marking. Formative tasks are the ones that help you learn and improve your skills - it is best to submit these to your teacher and wait for feedback before submitting your summative assignments (good copies).
Please read each lesson and assignment carefully. I have created links to the rubrics I will be using to mark assignments. These rubrics are very similar to the ones used on the provincial exam, so it is a good idea to familiarize yourself with them.
