Lesson 4: Novel notes (analysis)
For your novel notes, you are being asked to analyze several topics that are important in your novel. Some of the topics, such as relationships and point of view, apply to all works of prose fiction. Others, such as government and technology, focus more on the aspects of your novel that help develop the dystopian theme.
There are seven charts to complete (see the links in green below). You need to discuss each how each topic (given on the left hand side of the chart) appears in your novel. Be specific! Give several quotations for each topic and make sure you state what page number the quotes are from. Here's an example of the level of detail I expect for each topic. (Note: point form is okay, so long as all the information is there)
