Using imagery to enhance the description of concrete objects (things we can see, hear, feel etc.) is very effective. But how do we use it to describe an abstract idea like an emotion or a concept?

Now you try to describe an abstract idea and make it concrete. You can choose an emotion and use imagery to describe how it feels. OR you can personify an emotion and make it a character that interacts with you. OR you can choose a concept like justice, racism, victory or betrayal and describe it in concrete terms.
